Captain Kevin

Captain Kevin McMillen became a full time captain in 2000 and is a man who has spent most of his life fishing and on the water. As a child he helped his dad build a 18' wooden fishing boat and fished light tackle in the Great Lakes around Illinois, Wisconsin and Canada. In 1971, at 13 years of age, Kevin won second place in the adult division with a lake trout weighing in at 26 pounds 7 ounces during the Season Long Labatt's Ontario fishing tournament.

We welcome you to keep any fish you wish, within legal limits. We urge catch and release on any fish you do not intend to eat, such as grouper, which are a highly stressed fishing species. We recommend you only keep what you will eat to help ensure that there will be plenty of grouper for future generations to enjoy. Captain Kevin belongs to various organizations such as the Tarpon Springs Chamber of Commerce, the Florida Guides Association and speaks regularly at local boat shows and fishing expositions. Also he teaches at the number one rated fishing school in the nation since 1996, Captain Sergio's Saltwater Fishing School.
